Instead of focusing only on routing protocols or switching configuration, the exam measures how well you understand software-driven networking workflows.

Many certification guides still approach the exam like a traditional networking certification. They list the exam blueprint and encourage memorization. That approach rarely works here.

The reality is that the CCNAAUTO certification was designed to test how engineers think about automation. It’s less about remembering commands and more about understanding how systems interact through APIs, Python scripts, and structured data formats.
